Oracle Corporation is one of the major companies developing database management systems (DBMS), tools for database development, middle-tier software, enterprise resource planning software (ERP), customer relationship management software (CRM) and supply chain management (SCM) software. Oracle has offices in more than 145 countries and employs more than 50,000 people worldwide.
Oracle wanted to create an Asia Pacific Leaders Summit brand and event that involved bringing in leading experts from around the world to talk about trends in leading markets. Oracle sales staff selected 4 key accounts in each country around Asia Pacific and invited them to the summit in Phuket, Thailand.
"In March 2006, I commissioned imagine to run virtually every aspect of a 140 delegate residential conference in Phuket, Thailand, on behalf of Oracle. The event was a major marketing exercise in Oracle's industry marketing plan, with the majority of delegates being customers and partners from all over Asia Pacific. The event was a huge success, largely thanks to the professionalism and eye for detail of imagine's key staff. Their sensitivity to budget pressures made them particularly easy to work with, as they proved to be flexible to changing project scopes."
